Special Membranes

The project is focused on the basic and applied research in the field of heterogeneous ion-exchange membranes. The aim of the project is both the modification of the existing membranes for the particular types of applications (e.g. selective membranes for the nitrates removing) and the development of the new types of membranes (e.g. tubular membranes or bipolar membranes).We are mainly focused on membrane composition and the interaction of the fixed ion-exchange resins and the polymer binder. We welcome the help from the academic institutions that are focused on the polymer materials and the composites.
