Project title: | RESEARCH AND SIMULATION OF HYBRID MEMBRANE SEPARATIVE TECHNOLOGIES AND THEIR APPLICATION IN POWER AND HEAT INDUSTRY |
---|---|
Project ID: | FR-TI1/479 |
Duration: | 08/2009 – 08/2013 |
Objectives: | The goals of the project are designing water treatment using modern membrane technologies in the heating and power plants and furthermore to prove their technical, ecological and especially economical advantages. Project is focused on the treatment of make-up water for both steam and hot-water boilers and on the recycling of the blow-downs from cooling systems as well. First the operation authentication of the pilot technologies is made in the concrete heating stations and power plants and then the comparison with common processes of water treatment (i.e. ion exchange). Expected result is inspired with analogous technologies which are able to streamline current water systems and they are commonly used outside the Czech Republic. The essential part of the project is the membrane units innovation and creation of universal software for designing “tailor made” membrane technologies for each concrete plant. |
